I keep getting a lot of requests for comment on the Presidential election. Let’s start by saying the hard thing: It looks rough, honestly. President Trump needs to fire off a Silver Bullet to stop them from stealing Pennsylvania. Then, he needs to fire off another one to get back either Michigan or Wisconsin… Or, somehow wrestle Nevada away in a recount.
Whenever you’re behind going into a recount, your back is against the wall … Also, none of it matters if Trump can’t hang on in Pennsylvania.
Here is the map as it stands right now …
DON’T expect a swift end to this. This is going to drag on for a while … And by “a while,” I’m saying December or possibly even January … So, take a deep breath … We have A LONG way to go …
Now, on the plus side, Republicans ARE going to hold the US Senate. Joni Ernst won, handily. Looks like Thom Tillis is going to win in North Carolina, Sonny Purdue will win Georgia, Susan Collins will hang on in Maine. Republicans took back Alabama from fluke, now-former Senator, Doug Jones AND It looks VERY likely that rockstar candidate, and Air Force vet, John James will flip the Senate seat in Michigan!
Yes, we lost Gardner and McSally in Colorado and Arizona, but effectively, it’s a net-trade, for Alabama and Michigan. Now, there is a run-off of Georgia between temporary, appointed Sen. Kelly Loeffler and Raphael Warnock for the other Georgia seat. So that will be an expensive and very bitter public battle that will take place in the background of the ongoing legal battle for the White House. However, the seat, ultimately, won’t dictate control of the Senate.
So, regardless of the outcome of the Presidential Election, we can hold the line. No court-packing plan! No Un-Constitutional DC Statehood, no Green New Disaster.
So, take a step back. Hold onto your hats and let the Trump team do what it needs to do. When they send fundraising asking to help fight this legal battle, be ready to help, and pray! That’s all we can do at this point.
