Biden’s Border Crisis continues to be a point of contention for likely U.S. voters. Sixty-five percent of likely U.S. voters think border security is a vital national security interest for America, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey.
Just 20 percent disagree while 14 percent are not sure.
In February of 2019, 59 percent said border security is a vital national security interest.
Sixty-two percent said it is more important to gain control of the border than legalize illegal alien workers already living in the U.S. Thirty-one percent prioritize legalizing those here illegally first.
As for immigration reform, 82 percent of Republicans and 62 percent of unaffiliated voters say gaining control of the border is more important than providing legal status to illegal aliens already here.
