During the March Madness NCAA Tournament, we have been conducting our own bracket.

We put together a list of 32 Republicans who may run for President in 2024. We used a somewhat scientific method to determine seedings 1-4, and then did our best.

We are now to the point where there is a “Final Four.”

As such, we want to highlight each of those candidates who has advanced to The Iowa Standard’s Final Four and look how they got here — we’ll also highlight a few comments.

Sen. Josh Hawley was a #2-seed in his respective quadrant. Hawley, one of the most vocal critics of the 2020 Election when it came to the lack of security, opened with an easy victory against Chris Christie.

To sum it up, Rick said “Christie is a RINO hack.”

Christie did receive support from one person, however.

Hawley advanced to a second-round matchup against South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. Timing, as they say, is everything.

The matchup came in the midst of Noem’s style-and-form veto of the Fairness in Women’s Sports bill in South Dakota.

Hawley beat Noem 38-13.

Cindy said that Hawley “did awesome fighting for Trump.”

“Noem has sunk herself,” Phil said.

Anna shared the sentiment, “Hawley, especially after (Noem’s) recent debacle.”

Hawley earned the spot in the Final Four with a surprisingly easy victory against No. 4-seed Tucker Carlson.

Johnathan voted for Hawley, saying “we need Tucker on news.”

Erin voted for Hawley as well, but said she’s a huge Tucker fan.

Hawley’s spot in the Final Four sets up a matchup with President Trump. We’ll see what happens in that matchup tomorrow!
