We want to highlight some of the events we were at covering and taking pictures. To our knowledge, no other Iowa media outlet had in-person coverage of what happened in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6.
We can tell you the confrontations between police and protestors started before President Donald J. Trump finished his remarks at the Save America Rally, which was held at the Ellipse.
Unfortunately, it seems some of our photos and videos from our cell phone were deleted after the latest Apple update. We still have some photos and videos from that day, however:
