Pastor Greg Locke preached on the steps of the United States Supreme Court at a pro-life rally in Washington D.C. on May 17. Locke delivered a lot in a little bit of time. You can watch his remarks below:

He started by declaring every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

“America has a choice and the choice is clear,” he said. “We can declare Jesus Lord of our life because we want to or we can declare Jesus Lord of our life in the day of judgment because we have to. But make no mistake, we will proclaim that Jesus is Lord.”

Locke also said the problem in America isn’t a “White House problem,” but a “God’s House problem.”

“We have far too many penny-wearing preachers that are too cowardly to stand up and push back against the tyrannical evil of our day,” he said. “And if the church would stand. If the men of God would stand. If the pulpits would funnel out the truth of justice, we would’ve abolished abortion 50 years ago before it was ever even turned into a law ladies and gentlemen.

“It’s the fault of the pastors. We’ve laid down our responsibility. We’ve rolled over. And God says to the church we’ve got to repent.”

Locke said the church is just getting started and just starting to let everyone know Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly.

“For 50 years Roe v. Wade has been a stain of God’s judgment on this nation,” Locke said. “And I declare unto you that this is the generation that will see abortion outlawed in this nation.”

Locke said it is time for believers to start getting fired up about the things of God and to stop being so cowardly.

“We’re not going to let them bully us and shout us down and put us in a corner,” he said.

Silence has become compromise, Locke said. The church has surrendered to the evil.

He took issue with the idea that preachers shouldn’t talk about politics, citing the story of John the Baptist.

He then told his own personal life story about his own mother being talked out of an abortion and having a baby, which was him.

  1. A true man of God, not afraid to preach the Gospel. We need pastors like him all over America. Until the Church repents, nothing changes in America.
