Republican Attorney General candidate Brenna Bird hammered her Democrat opponent, Tom Miller, at Thursday’s Save America Rally in Sioux City.
She wasted no time taking a shot at Miller, who she labeled as a “lazy, longtime liberal.”
“He doesn’t even believe in Voter ID,” she said. “He doesn’t get election integrity right, and we know how much that matters don’t we?”
Bird noted Miller has been AG since 1978, when she was two.
“We’ve got to tell him it’s attorney general, not eternal general,” she said.
Miller has zero endorsements from Iowa county sheriffs, Bird said. He has also never tried a single criminal trial, she added.
“Every time liberal Tom Miller gets asked about agriculture, he gives the same answer — he says he has a farm division,” she said. “Well, I looked into that. Guess, how many lawyers he has in his farm division? Zero. And it’s been that way for over 10 years.”
Finally, she criticized Miller for failing to sue Joe Biden’s Administration after suing President Donald J. Trump “right and left.”
She pledged to be a Second Amendment supporter as attorney general as well. She predicted a close race.
“When I’m elected attorney general, I’ve got some words for Joe Biden,” Bird said. “Do you know what they are? I’ll see you in court.”
