Sixty-two percent of likely voters approve of plans by the Republican House of Representatives to investigate Hunter Biden’s overseas deals. A new national phone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports shows 42 percent strongly agree with the investigation.
Only 34 percent disapprove, including 23 percent who strongly disapprove.
Sixty-one percent of voters believe it is likely that Joe Biden was consulted about and perhaps profited from Hunter’s overseas business deals — including at least one involving a company in mainland China. Forty-four percent said it is “very likely.”
Only 37 percent of Democrats approve of the plan to investigate Hunter, while 86 percent of Republicans and 63 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.
When news broke about Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop in October of 2020, social media platforms suppressed the story. But 63 percent of voters believe the story about the laptop is important. Thirty-five percent said it is not important.
