A new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey shows 49 percent of likely voters would support Democrats finding a candidate to replace President Joe Biden before Novemeber’s election.
Just 37 percent would disapprove of Biden being replaced.
Three months ago, 48 percent of Democrats said they’d approve of someone else replacing Biden. That number jumped six points to 54 percent, including 25 percent who strongly approve of a move.
Forty-three percent of Republicans and 50 percent of unaffiliated voters feel the same.
If Biden were to be replaced, 14 percent of voters said Michelle Obama would be a better pick. Ten percent sided with Kamala Harris. Nine percent selected Hillary Clinton and seven percent chose Gavin Newsom.
A whopping 46 percent of those polled said none of the named Democrats — including Gretchen Whitmer — would be a better candidate than Biden.
