Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-02) participated in the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government hearing with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy. During the hearing Rep. Hinson addressed concerns regarding United States Postal Services’ readiness for 2024 Election. Hinson pressed for this oversight hearing following concerns from state and local election officials about USPS operations. Key highlights are below.

Hinson pressed Postmaster General DeJoy on the procedures the USPS has in place to prevent election fraud and ensure Americans – particularly those in rural communities – can be confident that their election mail will be processed correctly and reach its destination on time.
