The Washington Examiner ran a story that Harris is doing well among white, college-educated women, dubbing them the Karen Party. The same day they ran a poll asking if the dockworkers strike would affect the election. The options for the poll were:
1. Yes, positive for Democrats
2. Yes, positive for Republicans
3. Won’t matter
4. I don’t know
I answered “won’t matter” because I think we are locked in this late in the game. I mean, if we can’t get women, especially moms and grandmas, to see the danger that Democrats support forcing schools to put dudes in the shower with their daughters and granddaughters, why would Karens give a second thought about a bunch of dockworkers going on strike, right?
I had sort of an epiphany tonight that maybe if these Karens can’t get their preferred wine, Italian shoes, parts for their EVs, Ozempic, and $1000 cell phones, maybe that would move them to “pull the lever” for Trump. Hit them where they live by denying them what they need to live their soulless lives because apparently their daughters’ and granddaughters’ safety and health DO NOT MATTER!
