I’ve known Brooke Boden for over four years. She is a genuine, honest and faithful lady. Brooke is an energetic and dedicated servant leader. She works hard to make Warren County and Iowa a priority so that we have a great place to raise our families. I can boldly say, Brooke has worked tirelessly to reduce the cost of living, worked to reduce crime rates in Iowa, worked to increase job opportunities, worked to improve education and worked to provide safe communities in Iowa and Warren County.
As I’ve mentioned I’ve known Brooke for over four years. Through our conversations, I’ve learned that she has a faithful, golden heart. A quality that I appreciate in people is the willingness to share their faith with their fellow humans, Brooke won’t hesitate to pray with you or for you. Brooke’s journey into politics is definitely a calling. It stems from a concern she had for her daughter with lyme’s disease. With this as her motivation and a calling from above, she poured her heart into canvassing, speaking and voicing her concerns to her friends and family. As far as a golden heart….I’ve learned that Brooke takes care of others before herself. She helps her sister, who is in skilled care at a local care facility. She is also taking care of her elderly parents, who have recently had some health issues. She never misses her son’s school events. And, you can find her at her friends’ life changing events such as weddings and funerals.
Have you seen the committees she has served on in the last four years? The extensive list includes, Government Oversight, Education, Ways and Means, Health and Human Resources, Economic Development Appropriations, Public Retirement Systems, and Iowa Mental Health Planning and Advisory Council. This list speaks for itself! I’ve also been extremely impressed with the extensive awards and endorsements from various groups. She has been endorsed by Iowa Farm Bureau, National Rifle Association, Americans for Prosperity, The Family Leader, Informed Choice Iowa, Iowans for Tax Relief and the Iowa Association of Business and Industry. The list of awards is just as long! The Iowa Health Care Association awarded Brooke the Outstanding Service Award and the Health Care Champion awarded from Iowa Physician Assistant Society are just a few! This is the proof that a vote for Brooke is a vote for someone that is knowledgeable and energetic and rolls up her sleeves and gets to work!
Many can agree, Iowa is a great place to live. It has impeccable natural beauty from the golden farm fields to the picturesque sunsets over the cities. Our local farmers markets make fresh natural homegrown produce accessible to communities. And even recent legislation has made a positive impact on Iowans. Keeping the government in check and keeping the cost of living low is a huge draw for people looking to relocate. Iowa has one of the lowest cost of living as compared to other states. Unemployment legislation was a priority in 2022, this legislation made Iowa’s unemployment system more efficient and affordable for employers and employees. Iowa’s income tax rates, low crime rate (in 2023 legislators updated Iowa Code Chapter 692.15) and the 2024 Education Initiatives makes our state an attractive place for young families to call Iowa their home, thank you to our Representative Brooke Boden and Republican leadership in the Iowa State House. One resounding cry I want to be clear on, as a public educator of over 30 years, getting our children back in school during the pandemic is something I deeply appreciated! This is evidence that a vote for Brooke Boden will mean keeping Iowa a great place to live and thrive!
Finally, Brooke has made a real difference in our lives. She is a hometown girl with hometown values! She willingly visits with me seeking solutions even though I’m just an Iowan, not a voter in her district. She not only has a proven record, and she isn’t claiming glittering generalities and making unclear promises, but Brooke Boden is honest, genuine and an authentic public servant. I strongly encourage you to vote for Brooke Boden!
