Apprentices qualified for the state competition earlier this fall through exemplary scores on a written test. Craft Championship competitors placed in the Top 10 of their respective fields’ testing.

“We’re proud of our apprentices for successfully showcasing their training and skills at this year’s Craft Championships,” said Ginny Shindelar, ABC’s vice president of education and training. “Iowa is sending a very talented group to compete at our national competition.”

The first-place winners will travel to Nashville, Tennessee this spring for the National Craft Championships Competition. They were also awarded tools and other prizes.
