Thousands of Cuban citizens, tired of living under a despotic Communist government, have taken to the streets, hoping to end its horrifying rule. Some are even carrying American flags. Not surprisingly, a vicious crackdown is underway.
At the same time, America’s ruling elites, as epitomized by the radical leftist Biden/Harris regime and the Schumer/Pelosi/Sanders/AOC contingent in Congress, are pushing America toward communism.
They have effectively opened our southern border, inviting millions to enter the country, regardless of their health or criminal status or involvement with drug cartels.
Democrats are attacking election integrity laws, bribing millions of Americans with trillions in federal spending, promoting an aggressive LGBTQ agenda, and imposing Critical Race Theory and unworkable, autocratic Chinese COVID-19 mask mandates and lockdowns.
They are rubbing salt into the nation’s racial wounds every day, dividing us into warring identity groups that they can manipulate. Their latest power trip is to call for government-mandated vaccinations, regardless of risk.
The Washington Post revealed this past week that the FDA has asked major drug companies to experiment with vaccines on thousands of children, some as young as six months old.
To put it simply, the Democrats in power are functionally communist, though not in name. They are, as Barack Obama promised, radically transforming America before our very eyes. They hope to do as much damage as they can before facing voters again in 2022 and 2024.
What can patriotic, God-fearing Americans do to halt this massive attack and to preserve our country’s legacy of liberty for our children and grandchildren?

Rafael Cruz is a powerful example of the American Dream. Born in Cuba, Rafael lived and suffered under a cruel, oppressive dictator. He began fighting Fulgencio Batista’s regime as a teenager and was imprisoned and tortured.
Rafael arrived in Texas on a student visa in 1957 with nothing but the clothes on his back and $100 sewn into his underwear. He got a job as a dishwasher, making 50 cents an hour, and worked his way through the University of Texas while learning English. He later built a small business in further pursuit of the American Dream.
Concerned with the negative impact of the Jimmy Carter administration’s policies on our country, Rafael became engaged in conservative politics as a grassroots activist during the 1980 presidential campaign of Ronald Reagan.
When his son Ted was a child growing up in Houston, Rafael would tell him, “When we faced oppression in Cuba, I had a place to flee to. If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?”
In 2012, Ted Cruz was elected U.S. Senator from Texas and re-elected in 2018.
