On Feb. 16, Congresswoman Kat Cammack joined Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) and 82 colleagues in sending a letter to President Joe Biden demanding that he take a cognitive exam. The letter calls on the Cabinet to swiftly begin the process for invoking the 25th Amendment if President Biden is unwilling or unable to sit for an assessment. Jackson’s letter follows four previous letters sent urging President Biden to take a cognitive exam, which have all been ignored. This letter also follows the Department of Justice’s Hur Report which described President Biden as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” and stated that “he did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended.”
