Democrat State Sen. Claire Celsi has renewed her call for a boycott of Hy-Vee due to the company’s support of Gov. Kim Reynolds and Republican legislators.
Celsi took to Twitter on Saturday morning noting that people always ask her what they can do to make sure Reynolds loses her next election.
“One thing you can do is know who is funding her campaign and then stop spending money at those establishments,” Celsi said. “For example, Hy-Vee is among (Reynolds) and Republicans’ biggest donors. So, but your groceries elsewhere. Hy-Vee gives money to Reynolds and Iowa House and Senate Republicans who hate women and who took away their bodily autonomy.
“As an added bonus, you can save money by shopping at Aldi and Target. Hy-Vee used to be a company that truly cared about its employees and communities. It’s safe to say that their corporate philosophy has changed.”
Celsi then shared the following image:
Here was some reaction:
By calling out Hy-Vee, she just inspired Republicans to only shop there. Target is totally opposite and apparently she hasn’t been watching the news lately.

She's more popular than ever. No chance to beat her. Focus on something productive.

So you want to put thousands of people out of jobs because your feelings are hurt?

Does Planned Parenthood support you? How much do make when they sell the dead babies body parts?
