The Colorado GOP has “wholeheartedly” endorsed conservative Congressman Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House. The group put out its statement on Wednesday.
“Congressman Jordan has steadfastly championed conservative Republican values during his nine terms in Congress and would continue his proven record of success as our country’s next Speaker,” the release said. “As a fiscal hawk, Congressman Jordan has always battled against wasteful spending and big-government tax hikes while fighting to protect hard-working taxpayers from Washington D.C. insiders and greedy special interest groups who only want more of our money.”
The Colorado GOP also praised Jordan for being “staunchly pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-border security” and a willingness to hold the corrupt Biden Administration accountable.
“We need to get Congress working for the American people again,” the Colorado GOP said. “It’s absolutely critical that all House Republicans unify and elect Congressman Jim Jordan immediately.”
The release thanked Representatives Lauren Boebert and Doug Lamborn for supporting Jordan. It followed:
“Now, we call on Congressman Ken Buck to do likewise and join his Colorado colleagues in supporting Congressman Jordan for all Speaker votes moving forward as we unequivocally oppose any further gridlock or delays on this critical election.”
