I’ve made gun safety my life’s work, and I want to talk to you about my friend Abby Finkenauer.
Abby grew up in a gun-owning home. She was taught to handle and respect firearms by her father. But she knows that not everyone has this same perspective.
That’s why in Congress, she’s worked to keep guns out of the hands of stalkers and domestic abusers by expanding background checks — all while preserving the rights of responsible gun owners, like her father.
