Convention of States Action is hosting a rally on Jan. 25 at the Iowa State Capitol. The rally will feature former U.S. Senator and 2012 Iowa Caucus winner Rick Santorum and author and media pundit Steve Deace.
That rally is expected to begin at 1 p.m. on the first-floor rotunda.
Opponents of the Convention of the States are inviting Mark Meckler to debate Robert Brown on the Article V application process.
Organizers of the debate said Meckler has been invited via email and on social media, but he is yet to respond.
Regardless of Meckler’s availability, Brown will speak Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Airport Holiday Inn & Conference Center in Des Moines.
Brown is the author of the “The Constitution is the Solution” series.
