2020 has been a rough year. Politics, as usual, has played a big part. The country is divided but in a good way. People are realizing that there are differences and implications to worldview thinking. Paul said as much: “For there must also be factions among you, so that those who are approved may become evident among you” (1 Cor. 11:19).

It’s good to know who the wolves are. They’ve been hiding among the sheep for a long time.

American Vision has been at the forefront of helping Christians understand how to identify and expose faulty thinking among the sheep so they can spot the wolves. Paul warned the church at Ephesus, “from your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after them” (Acts 20:30). If the early church was dealing with this issue, we shouldn’t be surprised when it’s an issue today. The wheat and tares are becoming more distinguishable.

Knowing this is necessary for building and maintaining the church and reconstructing the culture. While politics is part of worldview thinking, it isn’t the first thing to change. In most cases, it’s the last thing to change.

Since I returned to American Vision in March of 2019, we have seen exponential growth in every area. American Vision changed its operating model by using skilled Christian artists, designers, videographers, proofreaders, and other experts from around the United States. In the past, American Vision employed at least a dozen people. We’ve been able to keep our expenses down while increasing our output of new material and helping young talent grow their businesses. It’s an exciting time.

American Vision has also established working relationships with biblical worldview ministries around the world that are using the many resources that we have developed over the years. We can’t keep some titles in stock.

This has gotten notice from American Vision’s enemies. Anti-Christian forces want us gone and are actively trying to silence us online. Our website is regularly attacked by national and international hackers who hate the biblical worldview and the Kingdom of Christ. In addition, just like the media, big-tech companies are in the pocket of the liberal propaganda machine and make it difficult for the Truth to be heard. But where there are wills, there are always ways, and thanks to friends and supporters like you, we are finding new methods to circumvent the tech censors.

With all the 2020 turmoil, American Vision has had a very productive year. We have recovered from the financial and reputation crisis that brought me back to American Vision in 2019. I’ve produced my daily articles that go around the world. The article I wrote in response to a John Piper article was shared nearly 35,000 times. And we have nearly 70 episodes of The Gary DeMar Podcast available with many more coming.

Speaking of podcasts, I’ve done numerous interviews and lectures with others around the United States and the world. The message is getting out and resonating. Hard times force people to look for answers. Your financial help goes a long way to make that possible.

Greg Bahnsen’s Against All Opposition has been a huge hit. The second volume will be out in early 2021. Presuppositional apologetics is growing by leaps and bounds. It’s forcing unbelievers to answer these two important questions: “Who Says?” and “By What Standard?”

My book Restoring the Foundation of Civilization sets forth the necessary conditions to rebuild the fractured underpinnings of our society. Millions of Christians don’t know where to start or how to think through the issues. I’m currently finishing up my newest book, It All Comes Down to “Who Says?” This book will be an applicational resource to help Christians answer some of the attacks against the Christian faith.

There is much more to do and we need your help in the wolf hunt. There are several ways to do this as we move into 2021: First, you can send a one-time financial gift. Second, you can donate monthly. (Click here for donation options.) Third, you can purchase American Vision materials and share them with others. Lastly, help us to spread our articles and emails with as many people as possible. (You can sign up for our email list here.)

Thank you so much for all your support in 2020. We look forward with postmillennial optimism to what God has in store for 2021!

Best wishes in Christ,

Gary DeMar
