Democrat State Rep. Dave Jacoby took to Twitter on June 20 to vow he’ll never stop in Vinton again after two directors quit at the Vinton Library after complaints were made about hirings, LGBTQ and Biden books — according to Jacoby.

“This is where we are people,” Jacoby said. “And frankly I’ll never stop in Vinton again. And they can watch the Hawks from home cuz I don’t want their narrow minds in our community!”

The story Jacoby shared, which is a link to the Gazette, states that two directors have been lost in two years after complaints from residents about a display of LGBTQ books and books about President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
