Former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky went a step further than just recommending “thoughts and prayers” for Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin on NFL Live earlier this week. Orlovsky actually said a prayer for Hamlin during the show.

Orlovsky noted that football gave him “everything.” And while Monday Night Football displayed a tragedy, Orlovsky said some of the beauty of football broke through as well.

“I’ve heard it all day, like, ‘thoughts and prayers,'” Orlovsky said. “I’ve heard the Buffalo Bills organization say that we believe in prayer. And maybe this is not the right thing to do, but it’s just on my heart that I want to pray for Damar Hamlin right now.”

For a network that has moved far to the Left and fully gone woke, how refreshing to see this prayer broadcast on ESPN.
