On Tuesday, America First Legal (AFL) filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission seeking an immediate investigation and enforcement action against Biden For President, the Biden Victory Fund, the Biden Action Fund, and the Democratic National Committee for failing to disclose the campaign’s role in coordinating the infamously false “Letter of 51” former intelligence officials to hide the evidence of Biden family political corruption and influence peddling found on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Michael Morell, a former Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, testified to the U.S. House Judiciary Committee that on or around October 17, 2020, Biden confidant and current Secretary of State Antony Blinken contacted him to discuss the Hunter Biden laptop story. At the time, Secretary Blinken—who played a key role in the Penn Biden Center that used money from Communist China (laundered through the University of Pennsylvania) to pay Joe Biden almost $1 million for a no show job—  served as a senior advisor to the Biden campaign. Mr. Morell testified that Secretary Blinken “triggered” a disinformation operation to “help Vice President Biden….win the election.”

Morrell and the others alleged that “[f]or the Russians at this point, with Trump down in the polls, there is [an] incentive for Moscow to pull out the stops to do anything possible to help Trump win and/or to weaken Biden should he win. A ‘laptop op’ fits the bill, as the publication of the emails [is] clearly designed to discredit Biden.” However, at least some of these officials had close and ongoing ties with the Federal Bureau of Information and were aware that Hunter’s laptop had been reviewed, and its contents verified as authentic, early as November 2019.

Statement from Reed D. Rubinstein, Senior Counselor and Director of Oversight and Investigations:

“In 2016, high ranking federal intelligence officials interfered in a Presidential election, lying about Russia collusion in a failed effort to elect Hilary Clinton. In 2020, many of these same officials again interfered in a Presidential election, lying about Hunter Biden. The Federal Election’s Commission’s charge includes election integrity — Americans have the right to know who is coordinating with federal candidates. But this right is only as effective as the agency that enforces it. The FEC must act here.
