Convention of States Action is proud to announce Dr. Kevin Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation, has officially endorsed the Convention of States (COS) movement as a critical means to rein in the federal government and safeguard the liberties upon which our Republic was founded.

The Heritage Foundation is the nation’s premier conservative think tank, standing for limited government, individual freedom, and traditional American values. Roberts’ endorsement not only reaffirms the importance of the grassroots movement but also strengthens our collective dedication to upholding the nation’s founding principles.

In a statement, Roberts emphasized the concerns of today’s ever-expanding federal government and the pressing need to alter the trajectory by calling the first-ever Article V convention:

“Washington, D.C. is fundamentally broken and it’s past time we look outside the Swamp for answers. Providentially, the Founding Fathers wrote Article V into the U.S. Constitution as a backstop to the tyrannical rule we see from the Federal Government today. We have a limited window of opportunity left to save our Republic. I call on states to pass the Convention of the States resolution, which just might be our last best hope.”

Roberts’ official support will undoubtedly resonate with millions of Americans who believe in the importance of limited government. Convention of States applauds Kevin Roberts for his dedication to the cause of limited government and looks forward to working alongside him to work toward the 34-state threshold needed to call an official Article V convention.
