Congresswoman Hinson (IA-01) released the following statement on the current shortage of children’s medications.

“Parents are desperately searching for basic cold medications for their children and are leaving empty-handed as the Biden Administration fell flat-footed once again — it’s déjà vu to the heartbreaking baby formula crisis. The Biden Administration should have taken steps to ensure we wouldn’t run out of basic medications during the winter months when respiratory illnesses were expected to increase, but they did nothing. I will work with anyone who will work with me on short-term solutions to restock shelves, as well as on long-term fixes to prevent future shortages. American families are getting tired of crisis after crisis under this inept Administration and they deserve better.”  – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
