Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA-02) released the following statement after voting to condemn the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for using a spy balloon to surveil the United States and collect sensitive information.
“The Chinese Communist Party intentionally sent this espionage device to collect sensitive information to use against us — we condemn this provocation not as Republicans or Democrats, but as Americans. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the CCP’s surveillance state — there are 210 million Chinese spy balloons in the form of TikTok on Americans’ phones today. We must crack down on CCP surveillance tactics, whether in the sky or on our phones, to protect individual data and national security. I look forward to doing so as a Member of the Select Committee on the CCP.”
What nonsense. Protect the US borders! Stop spending trillions of dollars and getting the country deeper in debt! Stop provoking war with Russia and China! Get US troops out of Syria and lift the sanctions that are killing people! Everyone in DC is getting rich from war while thousands die in Ukraine and in the other wars the US funds.
