Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, spoke at length Saturday evening about what he called “the other virus” plaguing America, saying he thinks it is more dangerous than the Chinese Coronavirus.

“There’s a lot of different words to describe it,” he said. “Wokeism. Diversity, equity and inclusion. Critical Race Theory. And it’s everywhere.”

Kirk said at Columbia University they are holding black-only graduation ceremonies. At Western Washington there are black-only dorms. United Airlines announced 50 percent of all new pilots hired will be black pilots.

“I don’t care about the color of the skin of my pilot,” Kirk said. “I hope that he or she can land the plane when they need to land the plane.”

There is an effort to implement an existential threat against the American way of life, he said.

“I’m old enough to remember that when you actually cared about peoples’ skin color, you were rightly called a racist,” he said. “The problem is, so many people are afraid to even touch this because they’re afraid of being called the worst thing you can be called in American society. And no, it’s not an adulterer or an ax murderer – it’s a racist.

“There’s a supply and demand issue of racism in America. America is such a non-racist country, we have people like Jussie Smollett who need to make up racial incidents in the middle of the night in Chicago to prove we are racist.”

Instead, Kirk said, the Smollett incident is proof America is the “least racist country ever to exist in the world. Period.”

Kirk then declared what he said are “controversial statements.” He called the next virus a virus of political correctness.

“Only women can become pregnant. There are only two genders. Men are different than women,” he said. “Why have we allowed this nonsense to get as far as it is?”

Kirk said people need to not care what people call them when they say something that is true.

“We live under the tyranny of their social conformity,” he said. “We live under the tyranny that they hold the cards. Everything they are, they accuse us of. We can retake the country when decent people start to care more about the greater good and about what is right than about what their personal cost maybe.”

It may come at a cost, Kirk said, but the question is what matters more.

“Here is the open secret that no one wants to tell you out loud,” he said. “We will not defeat the Left. We will not destroy what they’re trying to do without every single person in this room sacrificing some form of comfort. It’s that simple.”

Kirk said when millions of people are saying those controversial things, they’ll realize they’ve been ruling under a “tyranny of a minority.”

“It stops when we start to say we care about what is right for the nation more than what they are going to do against us,” he said.
