The basic human right to life is the most important issue and cannot be overlooked or downplayed in this election. Samantha Fett, Brooke Boden and Mariannette Miller-Meeks agree that life is precious and should be protected.

Who gives you the right to live?  Do you believe that the government gives you the right?  Or do you believe that God gives you the right to live?  Did you know that 3 out of 10 pregnancies end in an induced abortion? Did you know that 73 million babies are aborted every year?  Why should we protect life?

According to a recent Gallup poll, only 35% of Americans believe that ALL abortions should be legal.  That means that the majority of Americans know that life is precious and abortions should come under restrictions.  For years I’ve volunteered at the Warren County Right to Life booth at the Fair.  I’ve heard countless happy stories of pivotal moments in people’s lives.  They reflect with me that they had the choice to terminate a pregnancy.  These stories are unforgettable.

One man told me he had volunteered at a pro-life booth and had a little ten-week baby model in his pocket from the night before.  One of his employees came to him and asked for the upcoming day off as he needed to take his girlfriend into the doctor.  The employee continued to share that he was taking his girlfriend into the clinic to have an abortion.  They weren’t married and they felt they just couldn’t afford to have this baby.  They didn’t have plans to marry and they didn’t see any other options.  The employer pulled the baby model from his pocket and asked the employee to really think about it and handed him the baby model.  The employee ended up quitting and never returned.  Until 2 years later.  The employee returned with photos on his phone of a beautiful little boy of whom he was filled with pride and joy.

Another grandpa told me the story of his wife and him being encouraged by the doctor to abort their baby as abortion was legal and safe in the ‘70s.  The doctor explained that their daughter would have a birth defect and not be normal and abortion would be a good idea.  They told the doctor they would discuss it.  They changed doctors and continued on to be parents of a beautiful baby girl who needed a little surgery to correct the birth defect.  He finished by saying that he was so grateful for their decision because he is sure keeping busy with music programs, dance recitals and ball games with his now two granddaughters.  Had he and his wife followed the doctor’s persuasiveness he wouldn’t have the joy of being a grandpa.

Ask AI this question, “Why should we protect life?”  You will get these answers:   A society that values and protects life fosters a culture of dignity, justice, and peace. It is a fundamental principle that guides our actions and decisions.  A society that protects life also promotes economic and social well-being.  Healthy individuals and communities contribute to a stronger, more resilient society.  It allows future generations to inherit a world where they can thrive and build upon the achievements of those who came before them.

The country that we live in is the greatest country in the world where we can thrive and foster future generations and create a culture of dignity and peace.  In other words, we can have as many children as we wish.  We believe that God or natural law gives us the right to life, not a government that dictates who can or cannot reproduce, not a government that says who has the right to live, but God has given us this right.  The majority of Americans see that man is not the one who should decide who lives or dies, but a higher power gives us the right. How does America understand this? We have these rights enshrined in our US Constitution.  Even our Founding Fathers recognized that protecting life was essential to a flourishing society.

Protecting life is on the ballot.  Protect your legacy and the future generations that will inherit a world in which they can thrive and flourish and build upon the achievements of those who came before them.  Protect life and help build social stability and the future of America.  A vote for Samantha Fett, Brooke Boden and Mariannette Miller-Meeks means that you are in the majority of protecting life.
