Have we asked what God thinks of the elections? Is He rooting for one candidate over another? He has told us that the governments are established by Him. Does that mean He chose all of our past presidents?
He can and will accomplish His plan no matter who is “in power.” I think when we go searching after politicians it is like Israel asking Samuel to ask God for a king in I Samuel 8. God says, “And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.”
If you are a follower of Jesus, you already have a King. No man can do more for you. It is the Lord that is the source of our prosperity- no matter how much the government takes from us. If God allows filth in the schools, take your children out of the schools. There is no law that I can think of that forces anyone to go against the laws of God. Yes, there are laws that allow people to go against the law of God but God sees it all and He will have vengeance on those who sin. When a person is in Christ that person has freedom that no man can take.
The world is hurtling toward a New World Order and the End of Days. Read Matthew 24. Read Revelation 13. No election anywhere can stop what is coming. If you want peace and safety, it will not come through any mere man. It will only come through the truth of Christ and it will be personal and it will be yours.
If the Bible is true then the United States will fall. The Anti-Christ will come to power and will be allowed to overcome the saints of God (for a time) and every “tribe, tongue and nation.”
I hate to see how many Conservatives who claim God are buying gold and silver to try to save their wealth. They need to read Ezekiel 7.
“They will throw their silver into the streets,
and their gold will seem unclean.
Their silver and gold cannot save them
in the day of the wrath of the LORD.
They cannot satisfy their appetites
or fill their stomachs with wealth,
for it became the stumbling block
that brought their iniquity.”
Read the letters that God sends to the 7 churches in Revelation 2 and 3. It is warnings to those who believe in Him that they are on the verge of losing everything.
Repent and seek God’s will, not your own or you will be counted with the goats, the unfaithful, the unbelieving. Don’t assume that the narrow gate is just big enough for you.
