Chick-Fil-A will no longer fund the Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes because LGBT activists call them “anti-LGBT.” Instead, Chick-fil-A is now funding a host of radical LGBT and abortion organizations.
Chick-fil-A did a complete U-turn and announced it will now fund Covenant House, a radical LGBT activist organization that celebrates homosexuality, transgenderism, and the entire LGBT agenda.
The founder of Covenant House is a former Catholic priest accused of being a pedophile. He was sued for allegedly sexually abusing the youth who were seeking shelter and food. And, Covenant House does not stop at LGBT activism, it also was caught using its vans to take girls to local abortion clinics!
But that’s not all. Chick-fil-A also donated directly to one of the most militant anti-Christian groups in America – the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)!
The SPLC has made false, damaging claims against pro-family and Christian groups that believe marriage is between one man and one woman. It has publicly attacked me, Franklin Graham, James Dobson, Gary Bauer, and many others.
In addition, Chick-fil-A donated $1.7 million dollars to a joint-project with Atlanta’s Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, who pushed a resolution this April asking her state to outlaw professional Christian counseling of people who face confusion about their gender or sexual attractions.
To save its own corporate skin, Chick-Fil-A has thrown good, biblical organizations under the bus and legitimized the false narrative of the LGBT activists. “This provides more focus and more clarity,” said Chick-fil-A’s president.
He is correct. This clarifies Chick-fil-A’s betrayal.

Stop the Betrayal!
I urge you to stop betraying the Christian values Chick-fil-A was founded upon. Stop supporting groups that are attacking the customers and principles that made your company prosper.
It is shocking that Chick-fil-A is rejecting good, time-tested charities that believe in marriage between one man and one woman and instead now funds radical LGBT and abortion activists.
Please immediately take the following actions:
- Stop funding the Southern Poverty Law Center, who’s fake “hate-map” was used in a violent shooting targeting professional, pro-family groups in D.C.
- Stop funding Covenant House, an organization that was founded by a priest accused of molesting youth looking for food and shelter. Now it facilitates abortions and advocates participation in LGBT pride parades for its youth.
- Evaluate and end support of other radical LGBT and abortion organizations.
- Reexamine all your executive staff and board members to make sure everyone supports the Christian values on which the company was founded.
I ask you to end this betrayal of your founding values and your customers and please return to your company’s core values.
