Sixty percent of likely voters believe the problem of bias in the media is getting worse. It’s a four-point increase from March. Just 6 percent of voters said the problem is getting better while 30 percent said it is about the same.
Only 24 percent of voters believe the media gave too much coverage to Hunter Biden’s indictment on nine federal tax charges. Fifty-one percent said the media has not covered it enough.
Thirty percent of voters rated the quality of news coverage of the Biden Administration as good or excellent. Forty-three percent said it has been poor.
Unaffiliated voters align much more with Republicans. While 49 percent of Democrats rate the media coverage of the Biden Administration as good or excellent, just 18 percent of Republicans and 23 percent of unaffiliated voters agreed.
The media has definitely taken sides. Just look at the bias between Fox, all Trump and MSNBC, all Biden.
This has resulted in voters only taking the side they agree with. So this stations become enablers for voters that agree with them. Thiss is a divisive disservice.
Also, the media allowed Trump to become President because of this bias. They did not research enough, or prioritized news about his fraudulent behavior, his relationship with Russia, his bullying debate Tactics.
And now it is happening again. This man wants to and will be a dictator if the media isn’t more assertive, aggressive and not biased so the country will listen.
A core reason for his appeal is racism. He is playing and aggressive increasing American fears of blacks or browns taking over. The media has to denounce it.
I could go on about the lack of speaking out loudly against The move towards a dictatorship ship prospered by Congress and so much more but we are in a fight for our Democracy and the media is contributing to it. If the Iowa caucus makes him more popular as a candidate then shame on the people and media.
