Tucker Carlson is more popular than Fox News, according to a national phone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports.
Carlson, who was fired last week by the network, has a favorable impression from 59 percent of likely U.S. voters. That includes 36 percent who have a very favorable view of him. Just 34 percent view Carlson unfavorably, which includes 25 percent who view him very unfavorably.
Fox News is viewed favorably by 52 percent of voters with 24 percent having a very favorable view. Forty-two percent view the network unfavorably, with 28 percent holding a very unfavorable view.
Just 19 percent of those surveyed said Tucker’s departure will improve Fox News. Thirty-two percent said it would make FNC worse.
