United States Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader in the Senate, appeared to once again freeze during a press conference on Wednesday. McConnell was asked about his thoughts on running for another term in 2026 when this happened:

This episode comes not long after McConnell suffered a similar incident earlier this summer:

McConnell’s current term runs until 2027. He is 81 years old.
