Congresswoman Mary Miller (R-IL) issued the following statement on President Biden’s address to the nation:
“Joe Biden wants to defend every border except our own. Under President Trump, we had historic peace in the Middle East thanks to the Abraham Accords,” Miller said. “Joe Biden’s weakness during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal emboldened our enemies and set the world on fire.
“Biden is asking taxpayers to send more money to Ukraine while he rejects audits, transparency, or accountability. Since Ukraine needs money, has the Biden Family returned the MILLIONS they were paid by Ukrainian entities?
“Biden is also sending $100 million to Gaza, which is controlled by the Hamas terrorists who killed American and Israeli citizens. His plan is to fund both sides of the war in Israel. He still hasn’t frozen the $6 billion he released for Iran, and by attacking American domestic energy production, Biden has made Iran richer than they could have possibly imagined.
“Joe Biden is a failed president, and his open border policies allowing 7 million foreign nationals to cross into our country have put us in the most danger we’ve seen since 9/11.
“I stand in support of Israel and will continue to pray for both Israel and the successful rescue of all who were captured.”
