Major League Baseball teams host youth baseball and softball days throughout the season. It varies from team to team. But in the case of the Minnesota Twins, the Youth Baseball and Softball Days at Target Field this year are June 14-16.

And it just so happens that right smack dab in the middle of the weekend youth baseball and softball teams are encouraged to attend Twins games, Pride Night falls right in the middle on June 15.

The first 10,000 fans on June 15 will receive a Pride Day T-Shirt. Coincidentally, youth baseball and softball teams are encouraged to participate in a pre-game parade on the field prior to the game — meaning they will presumably be encouraged to arrive early.

The Iowa Standard reached out to the Minnesota Twins asking if this was intentional, but we have not received a response.
