Fifty-four percent of registered voters believe it is at least somewhat likely a “large number of illegal immigrants” will be allowed to vote in the 2024 election. That is according to a Napolitan News National Survey conducted Aug. 21-22.

Much of that 54 percent is made up of Republican voters (79 percent), but 53 percent of Independent voters agreed. Just 14 percent of Republicans said it is not very likely or not at all likely. Fifty-six percent of Democrats said it is not very likely or not at all likely that a large number of illegals will vote in the 2024 elections.

A whopping 94 percent of Republicans support Voter ID, while 81 percent of Independents agree. Even 83 percent of Democrats support such a proposal.

However, 28 percent of Democrats said they would at least somewhat favor allowing noncitizens to vote in presidential and congressional elections. Just 10 percent of Independents and 16 percent of Republicans agree.
