Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene told reporters Thursday at the Iowa State Fair she came to Iowa to spread her America First message. And, she added, the Joe Biden administration has turned their back on thousands of Americans in Afghanistan and here at home.
“We’re taking our America First message across the country because we have to do everything we can to take our country back,” she said. “These America Last policies of the Biden administration are going ruin everything that we have. It’ll ruin the future for the American Dream and ruin the future for all of our children and generations to come.”
Greene ripped Democrats for the upcoming votes on the $1.2 trillion Biden infrastructure bill and the $3.5 trillion budget “that does nothing for America except pass the Green New Deal, which helps China, not America.”
“And this is something that is appalling,” she said.
Greene was asked if she was testing the waters for a 2024 presidential run, but repeatedly said she was only putting the focus on America First policies and she is dedicated to helping President Donald J. Trump return to the White House.
She criticized the proposed plan to transition to electric vehicles before taking Biden to task for lecturing Republican governors about forcing masks or vaccines while turning his back on Americans in Afghanistan.
“(That’s) absolutely appalling,” she said. “It’s the most America Last thing we’ve ever seen — the border’s wide open, we’re coming up on the 20th anniversary of 9-11 and Kamala Harris — the so-called border czar is not at the border. It’s wide open for all these terrorists that just got released — 5,000 of them from a camp in Afghanistan, to just come on over to America and remind America what radical Islam is all about.
“I’m spreading this message across the country — it’s time to stand up for America, stand up for our children who shouldn’t be wearing masks in school, stand up for people to have the opportunity to choose to take a vaccine or choose to not take a vaccine without realizing that they’re going to be fired from their jobs.”
