The NRCC today released a memo outlining its latest internal polling of battleground districts.

In battleground districts, like Cindy Axne’s, Build Back Better is already toxic with voters.

When asked “would you say you support or oppose President Biden’s new spending package also known as Build Back Better,” a plurality (46%) say they are opposed, and only 39% support. After learning about the damaging policies within the package—including massive taxpayer-funded payouts to illegal immigrantstax hikes on the middle-class and money to fund the IRS spying on people’s bank accounts – opposition reaches 57% with only 37% supporting.

Additionally, the New York Times reports Build Back Better is likely not fully paid for, as Democrats have claimed for months.

NRCC Comment: “Voters want nothing to do with Democrats’ massive tax hikes, reckless spending, and taxpayer-funded giveaways to illegal immigrants. If Cindy Axne votes for Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi’s big government tax and spending spree, she will lose.” – NRCC Spokesman Mike Berg
