David Young, Republican candidate for Iowa’s Third Congressional District, was today named as a first-round “Contender” candidate by the National Republican Congressional Committee.
The program recognizes Republican House candidates across the country who have the plans and organizations in place to win crucial races to return Republican control to the U.S. House of Representatives.
“I am honored to be recognized by the NRCC with their ‘Contender’ status,” Young said. “But more so, I’m honored to have the grassroots, activists, and donor community support here in Iowa who have donated their valuable time, energy, and hard-earned money to put us in a position to win.”
