Pastor Jack Hibbs told those in attendance at America Fest 2021 not to run away from the battle, but to instead put on the battle gear and get in the fight. Hibbs said one of his goals is to make the nation knowledgable about what its freedoms are and that God gave us these freedoms.

“David looked around and he said what is the righteous to do when the foundations are removed,” he said. “Our foundations are being removed. We’re being attacked. What do we do? We do the same thing that David did and that all of God’s people have done from the ages. When everything looks impossible, you turn and you look up and you say, ‘God look down from heaven and have mercy. God have mercy upon us.’

“Our nation, California specifically now, has sanctioned abortion. Our governor is saying ‘I fear the overturn of Roe v. Wade and so I sense that that’s coming’…that abortion is going to be abolished, so he’s doubling down and he’s announced to America that California will be your abortion-destination state.

“Guess what we’re doing — ‘Dear God in heaven, either save Gavin Newsom or give us a new governor. But by all means, God, please don’t let that happen.'”

Hibbs said he thanks God for all the people in California who have not bowed the knee to Dr. Anthony Fauci.

“I mean, have not bowed the knee to fear,” he said. “We understand it’s flu season. Happens every year. When we are told by politics, not government, you can’t gather for service, you can’t sing outloud, you can’t gather together — listen, the more I read my Bible and read my Bible, the more I understood if that’s what I’m hearing from politics, then it’s time for us to obey God rather than man. It’s time for us to do the right thing.”

Hibbs said death is inevitable.

“The moment we hear about death, isn’t it amazing, everyboyd’s afraid of death all of the sudden,” he said. “You’re not allowed to get sick. Nobody’s allowed to die. Wear a mask. Wrap yourself in bubble wrap. And stay home. You can’t get sick.

“Why? Because you could die. Well, we’re all going to die. The point is, to the gospel of God, that for God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever would believe on him would not perish but have everlasting life. You got to get ready before you die. Jesus said if somebody dies believing in me, he’ll live forever.”

Jesus made a way of salvation for everyone.

“It’s free,” Hibbs said. “It cost Him everything, but it’s free to you. So, the number one thing about turning back America is that we get on our knees. That’s how we fight.

“Do we run for office? Absolutely. Do we vote knowing the candidates? Absolutely. Always look into voting records. Never listen to them. Listen, never listen to candidates when they, don’t listen to them. Look at their voting records. Their voting records never lie. They’ll lie through their teeth. But theier voting record never lies.”

Hibbs said to vote smart and get involved, but ultimately, ensure Jesus is Lord of your life.

“Number one, you make sure that when all this is over, someday it’s all going to be done. You’re going to come to the end of your life or the end of your moment and you’re going to want to make sure that Jesus Christ is the Lord of your life. And listen, legalism, you’ve been a good person, ain’t going to cut it. If you could be good enough to get to heaven, then why did Jesus die on the cross? Listen, He died for jerks like me. He died for sinners like me. It’s Him.

“And listen, you want your soul secure, because you rise from that and you go forward doing the right thing. ‘Well, you guys in California you just had the largest recall in American history against your governor.’ That’s right. ‘But you wound up losing.’ Listen, it was the largest recall in American history. It was awesome. Here’s the deal — would we like to have one? Yes. But here’s the deal, we stood for what’s right. And at the end of time, we get to look God in the face and say we did what’s right. And listen I invite you to say yes to Jesus Christ. He is our only hope. He’s enough. He’s all that you need.”
