Conservative Republican David Pautsch released his first video explaining why he has decided to challenge liberal Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks in Iowa’s First Congressional District.
Pautsch said he’s challenging Miller-Meeks because she doesn’t represent him and due to the sacrificial service of his sons. One of Pautsch’s sons, Jason, didn’t make it home.
“That makes me think that maybe I can do something,” Pautsch said.
Washington D.C. needs change and it can begin in Iowa’s First District, he said. Pautsch criticized Miller-Meeks for her vote in support of the NDAA, which is loaded with “a bunch of garbage.”
“Funding for Ukraine. Funding for abortion and transgender surgery,” he said. “And also, the extension of FISA that allows the government to spy on you. This has got to change.”
Pautsch called President Joe Biden “treasonous” for his handling of the border.
