In a groundbreaking poll, the Convention of States team reveals remarkable bipartisan backing for the national grassroots initiative in Pennsylvania. The survey, conducted this week among 800 Pennsylvania voters, demonstrates a consensus on the need for constitutional reforms.

Noteworthy findings include a staggering 69% of Republicans, 70% of Democrats, and an impressive 77% of Independents willing to cross party lines in support of a candidate championing the Convention of States cause.

The data further reveals that 90% of state residents advocate for term limits, while 88% express concern about the $34 trillion national debt. Only 7% trust Washington to make crucial policy decisions impacting their lives.

With a supermajority (67%) of Pennsylvanians supporting the Convention of States cause—focused on term limits, federal spending restraints, and limiting federal government size and jurisdiction—the initiative enjoys backing from various demographics. Notably, 74% of Independents, three-fourths of blacks, and 63% of Hispanics are among the strong supporters.

Convention of States President Mark Meckler notes, “These results send a powerful message: Convention of States is a unifying cause that resonates across party affiliations.”

This overwhelming consensus reflects a united call for transformative constitutional reforms. As support surges in Pennsylvania, citizens look to their legislators to back this bipartisan cause, reinforcing the need for proper checks and balances at the state level.
