There doesn’t seem to be any issue too big or too controversial to tackle for Rep. Sandy Salmon. The Republican lawmaker is undoubtedly one of THE conservative heavyweights in the Iowa House and she deserves to be re-elected in one week.

Perhaps nobody in the Iowa House checks more conservative boxes than Rep. Salmon.

She is a stalwart defender of life.

She is a champion of parental rights in education.

She is a staunch supporter of religious liberty.

The list goes on and on. Don’t believe me, just check the bills she introduced the last general assembly. It reads like a Christian conservative’s wishlist.

While her conservative bonafides cannot be questioned, she is also an incredibly nice person. However, when it is time to stand up and defend the values she holds dear that many on the other side of the aisle consider “extreme,” Rep. Salmon is more than capable.

Perhaps more than any other legislator, Rep. Salmon is leading the way against the radical transgender agenda being pushed by the Left in today’s world. She’s also one of the few voices calling for parents to opt-in to sex education rather than opt-out.

Every Iowan who values religious liberty, unborn life, parental rights and conservative beliefs should make sure Rep. Salmon is re-elected.
