U.S. Rep. Randy Weber (TX-14) voted in favor of H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, which would prevent biological males from competing in school athletic programs for women or girls. The Biden Administration’s new Title IX rules prevent schools that receive federal funding from banning biological males from competing in female sports.

“The radical Democrats have launched an all-out attack on women’s rights. Males and females have unique biological differences, and the fact that we had to introduce this bill is appalling,” said Rep. Weber. “Hardworking women athletes who have spent their entire lives training are now forced on the chopping block to let biological men compete in their sport. As a father and grandfather of girls, I am outraged that women are being forced to compete against transgender biological males, all in the name of “inclusivity.” This isn’t inclusivity; this is forcing the radical transgender agenda on the American people and women’s sports. I am proud to stand up for women and girls in sports.”
