Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a number of bills into law on Wednesday, including Senate File 538 and Senate File 482. Senate File 538 prohibits sex-change treatments and surgeries on minors and Senate File 482 requires bathroom usage in schools to be dictated by biology, not gender identity.
The release put out by Gov. Reynolds did not include any quotes from the governor on those particular bills.
