In case you missed it, a new study shows that the Green New Deal – the Democrats’ plan to reengineer the American economy to fit their coastal elite views – would cost the average household an average of around $76,700 annually in Iowa. That’s more than the yearly median household income of $58,580 in the state!
What’s more, the Green New Deal would effectively kill the American economy costing 10.3 million Americans their livelihoods.
According to the study’s authors, America’s “booming national economy and record low unemployment rate is driven by abundant, domestic, reliable, and inexpensive energy produced by millions of men and women across the country. Any policy that proposes to reverse this success is a threat to jobs, to rural communities, to national security, and to the very prosperity that Americans are experiencing.”
Bottom line: The Green New Deal would devastate Iowa families. This socialist nonsense will help guarantee Republican wins up and down the ballot in November.
