Congressman Matt Rosendale (MT-02), during a House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs hearing, questioned Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Denis McDonough about new gender policies at the VA and how biological males are allowed in facilities made for female veterans.

“Single-sex spaces within the VA, those ensuring bodily privacy, such as bathrooms, exam rooms, and medical exam areas, can now be accessed by males who self-identify as women,” said Rep. Rosendale. “We have just made an incredible investment in the VA facilities across the nation because of the growing population of females within the veterans’ community. Why would we now open these exact same facilities to males who are identifying as women?”
