Sen. Joni Ernst took to Facebook on Nov. 6 to address the fiasco that has become the 2020 Presidential Election.
“Everyone should be able to agree that every legal vote should be counted and there should be transparency in this process,” she wrote. “It’s important we maintain free and fair elections in the U.S.”
Ernst benefitted from President Trump’s presence on the ballot in Iowa. Trump won the state with 53.1 percent of the vote. Ernst finished with 51.8 percent of the vote.
President Trump, and his campaign, made plenty of visits to Iowa in the final weeks of the campaign. At each stop Ernst’s race was mentioned.
