Democrat Sen. Claire Celsi used Iowa’s “plummeting” birth rate as a chance to criticize Republican policies, saying young families have nowhere to give birth, few midwives, scant childcare, low wages and public education demonized.
Seventy-five counties realized natural population declines between 2020 and 2021. That’s practically 75 percent. Is this out of line across the nation?
No. In fact, more than 73 percent of U.S. counties experienced a natural decrease.
Regardless, it is interesting to see a Democrat who champions the right to abort unborn babies lamenting the fact not enough babies are being born.

What do abortion, indoctrination and the national debt all have in common? They all target children, the next generation. Who owns the baby killing industry, a teachers’ union that indoctrinates with CRT and Gender Queer, and steals the American Dream from our posterity? They are the communist American Democrat Party and the rubber spined RINO Party incapable of stopping any of it even with a majority. I’m counting 25 House primaries to be decided in June that hopefully weed out some of the RINOs. One race in particular I’m watching is Helena Hayes unseat Dustin Hite in District-88. She’s the gold standard for the kind of person we need as a representative in the Iowa House – strongly for families and children. Why this is so important is because families and children are the social fabric of the state. They need to be set free from the LGBTQ assault being waged against them. I hope the other 24 primaries have candidates that are of the same caliber as Helena.
