If a man of God walks in uprightness all the days of his life honoring God by his obedience but then, when given the chance, he steals gum… what would you think of that man? Stealing gum is a small thing. Maybe some would laugh and say that he is allowed for all the good he does.

I say he should be ashamed. It is not a small thing. If a man of God raises someone from the dead and then is seen doing something as petty as stealing gum does not that theft diminish the miracle? If a prophet speaks words forth from the heart of God yet does not uphold the Word of God as Truth isn’t that prophet hindering both the Word and the hearers?

Yes, prophets, you are. You don’t get a pass. In fact, the Bible says in James 3 that those who teach will be judged with greater strictness.

Many of our most highly honored modern prophets ignore some of the Words that the Holy Spirit felt were important enough to be recorded in I Timothy 3. The Bible is clear that women should not be pastors or deacons yet many within the prophetic ignore this. It is not a small thing.

Many people in the Church today do not even believe in the prophetic yet they need to hear your words. They need to know that the prophetic is real and is for them. Is allowing women to be pastors and deacons so important that you would hinder the words God has given you to share? Would you undermine His Gift? Is that point important enough to keep the un-prophetic church skeptical of you?

I have written at least once and often many times to Eagle Mountain International Church, the Kunnemans, the Enlows and even one of my favorites, Robin Bullock. I have only ever heard back from one and we agreed to disagree.

Who am I to question the Prophets? I am no one special in the world yet I am special that I am a co-heir with Christ. Often within churches no one will question those in authority. We need to start questioning those in authority when we see them going against the Highest Authority. God does not esteem the positions of men.
