During a segment on The View, Sunny Hostin claimed that the Republican Party is the “extremist party” while Democrats are moving toward the political center.

It’s a crazy idea, considering the realities of today.

“They are playing to the base. I mean, if you look at all the studies, the Republican Party has moved further to the right than Democrats have to the left.”

Hostin cited a Pew Research Center analysis that shows the two parties are father apart ideologically than at any time in the past 50 years.

“And that ideological divide breaks down to the Republican Party being an extremist party and the Democratic Party…moving more to the center,” Hostin said.

That is astonishing considering the Democrat Party is the one who pushed for mandatory vaccinations, cannot define what a woman is, thinks biology to be meaningless when it comes to sex and gender, has no problem with biological males destroying women’s sports, desires open borders, etc.

Those are very limited issues. And if we went back 20 years ago, nobody would have gone along with those ideas. Well, a single-digit amount of Americans would have gone along with them.

And now it is mainstream in the Democrat Party.
